‘Eat breakfast like a king’ was amongst the vibrant cheerful sounds of the Kids at the Gravel Hill Primary and Gravel Hill Basic School in Clarendon on Tuesday September 4th, 2018 as LASCO and Tea Cup Ja was there to stir up a smile by providing breakfast from LASCO’s wide range of breakfast cereals with milk. Additionally, a donation was made of LASCO products (chocolate mix, instant oats, breakfast cereals, water crackers) to further enhance the breakfast program.
A collaborative effort between LASCO and Tea Cup along with members of the media (Efficacy Ent, TVJ) left these students with a healthy start and definitely stirred up a smile amongst these lovely kids. Local promoter Terrel Pencle and JDF Nutritionist whose tagline is ‘Nutrition for Life, Life is Good’, is also passionate about kids as much as food and thought what better way to explore both his passions in one mix.
On Tuesday, students could be seen enjoying a wide variety of breakfast cereals and other items from the LASCO product line as they were also engaged by members of the teams present.
According to LASCO Distributors Brand Manager Krishta-Gay Lewis-Harewood, LASCO has always been passionate about youth, education and nutrition and the relationship amongst all three. LASCO strongly advocates healthy breakfast for children and has a variety of affordable products to get parents and children in the healthy habit of breakfast. Good nutrition aides learning and that is the focus of this partnership with Tea Cup Ja and recently added partner Efficacy Entertainment.
CEO of Efficacy Ent. Perrone Thomas stated “This initiative was carried out not only to treat these kids to breakfast but also to educate on the importance of having a healthy start and also to encourage other companies & individuals to take a stand and make a difference”.
A statement was issued by Tea Cup stating ‘On behalf of Tea Cup Ja, LASCO and all other participants, we would like to thank Gravel Hill Primary School & Gravel Hill Basic School for receiving us so warmly and for your engagement. We hope this is just a start to a long and healthy breakfast program’
Let’s make a difference, let us begin with giving the future of our nation a healthy start! Everyday Family Values!
